The kinder will be experiencing the Living Eggs chicken hatching program for weeks 2 and 3 of term 2. Ten chicken eggs will arrive in an incubator. We will watch them hatch and nurture them until they are 2 weeks old. We will be moving the chicks into a brooder box 24 hours after they are born. We will feed them and when they are strong enough in week 2 we will be able to hold them.

This is a wonderful first-hand learning experience that we are sure will interest all the children.
