Our motto reflects our values as a community managed preschool: to provide the most positive early learning experience possible for families. We aspire to being the platform from which the youngest members of our community develop a love for learning that we hope will continue throughout their lives.
Viewbank Preschool is a not-for-profit association managed by a committee of parent volunteers. We welcome parental and community support to maintain and extend the wonderful educational programs offered at our preschool.
Our dedicated educators and volunteers aim to provide children with the best early education experience possible. A variety of learning environments help children to enjoy learning and develop to their fullest potential. For many families, preschool is the first contact with an educational environment outside of the home. Viewbank aims to make this experience a happy and fulfilling one.
Viewbank Preschool has been rated under the federal government’s National Quality Framework and exceeds all the requisite standards.

Environment
Located in the leafy suburb of Viewbank, our extensive outdoor environment and large indoor play area offer inviting and engaging play spaces for children to explore and be themselves.
Viewbank Preschool prides itself on a wonderful outdoor learning environment. Our grounds are extensive and include plenty of space to run and explore. With mature trees and shade sails we offer flexible play spaces for all seasons. The undercover verandah facilitates outdoor play even when the weather is inclement.
The preschool has a range of outdoor equipment which is rotated regularly to continually stimulate and promote the development of new skills. This may include climbing frames, balance beams and obstacle courses.

a raised cubby house and slide
‘digging’ patch for imaginative and creative play
large sandpit with surrounding deck
raised vegetable gardens
Viewbank Preschool promotes environmental sustainability through our educational program. We recycle our food waste through composting and a worm farm. A large water tank helps us collect rain water to nurture our vegetables and plants.
Indoors, our large play area offers a flexible learning environment for the children and is continually re-arranged to promote creativity and interest. Evaporative cooling and heating ensure children are always comfortable.
